Why do we have to charge a membership fee?
We want this site to help as many anglers as possible. All anglers are invited to share their fishing spots so that everyone may enjoy better fishing success and the database of spots can grow. MN Fishing Spots will pay anglers a bonus for all spots used on this site! Membership fees will be used to fund this. If you submit a handful of spots that are used, your membership will be paid for.
The information contained inside is much more powerful than your typical
Minnesota fishing reports. The database contains actual GPS coordinates, marked maps, water depth, water temperatures, lure, color, bait, and more. The website is also a great way for you to document your fishing spots and have them saved somewhere. That way, years down the road, you can look them up and go back to fish them again.
